History Theatre is located on the corner of Tenth Street and Cedar Street in downtown Saint Paul.

Directions

From west metro via I-94: 10th Street exit, east to Cedar Street.

From east metro via I-94: 12th Street (242A) exit toward State Capitol, left onto Cedar Street, south to Tenth Street.

From north metro via I-35E: 10th Street / Wacouta Street (107A) exit, curve right onto Tenth Street, west to Cedar Street.

From south via I-35E: 11th Street (106C) exit, east to Cedar Street, right onto Cedar Street, south to Tenth Street.

Parking

On the street: free parking after 4:30 p.m. and all day Sunday.

In a ramp: Allright Parking (Exchange Street) and World Trade Center (7th and Cedar).

NOTE: Do not park in St. Paul Public Health building parking lot.

Buses Unloading and Parking

Download printable bus unloading/parking directions and map (PDF). Buses must unload on Cedar Street, between Tenth and Exchange Streets. If the drop-off zone is full, circle the block and we’ll catch you on the next go-round. PLEASE DO NOT UNLOAD YOUR BUS UNTIL A HISTORY THEATRE STAFF MEMBER MEETS YOU. Buses may park:

  • On Wabasha Street between Exchange and 10th Streets in the area designated for MTC layover, NOT in the actual bus stop. Availability is first come, first serve, with room for 4-5 large buses.
  • On Dr. Martin Luther King Drive and Constitution Avenue by the State Capitol. Please park in the south lanes going away from the Capitol.
  • Along Fillmore, State and West Lafayette streets on the west side of the city. There are 67 spaces.
