Thanks to generous support from patrons, community members, and corporate and foundation partners History Theatre enjoyed a very successful 2009-2010 season.
History Theatre was blessed to receive both a MATCHING GRANT** from F. R. Bigelow Foundation for $50,000 and a CHALLENGE MATCH match from History Theatre’s Board of Directors, which tripled donations from supporters.

**The F. R. Bigelow Foundation matched every dollar over the previous year’s donation total. For example, if a donor contributed $100 in 2008 and gave $150 in 2009, the Foundation matched the $50 increase. New donor contributions were matched 100%. The History Theatre Board of Directors matched every dollar donated between April 1 through June 30, 2010, up to $15,000.
