With two returning favorites and four world premieres, History Theatre's 33rd season will be a celebration of local legends and rock 'n' roll icons, real heroes and everyday people. It will feature some of the best talent Minnesota has to offer including Caleb McEwen and John Sweeney of the Brave New Workshop, Brian A. Grandison and James A. Williams, Kevin Kling and Simone Perrin, Aamera Siddiqui, and the cast who made Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story such a hit in the fall of 2009.

History Theatre’s 32nd season will explore some of the major events and shifts in politics, culture, and science that our country and our world experienced in the middle of the last century. In the span of 15 years Americans experienced a Polio epidemic, World War II, the death of vaudeville, and the birth of rock ‘n’ roll. With two world premieres, two returning audience favorites, and two exciting collaborations, History Theatre’s 32nd season will tell the stories of who and how these events touched the citizens of Minnesota, America, and the world.
