Reception Information

Whether it is a corporate event or a private party, your group deserves an unforgettable evening at the theater. You can entrust History Theatre to provide exceptional services from conception to realization of your entire event.

RECEPTION/COCKTAIL PARTY
A reception or cocktail party allows you and your group to socialize just before or after the performance. Service includes: 3 buffet tables, disposable dinnerware, basic lobby seating, set-up and take-down, and server. Base cost: $50.00, plus cost of food – approx. $1.25 - $2.00 per person. Food suggestions include: veggie tray, cheese platter, deli tray, and dessert platter.

BUFFET
This is a stand-up event. Your guests will serve themselves from the buffet that can include anything from light appetizers and desserts to a complete meal. We have a complete listing of catering options for you to peruse. Prices will vary for your event according to your individual needs. Service includes: 3 buffet tables, disposable dinnerware, basic lobby seating, set-up and take-down, and server. Base cost: $50 plus cost of food

SIT DOWN DINNER
For groups of 12-100. This is a fully-catered sit-down event. We have a group of caterers that understand the unique lobby space and have had many successful events with us in the past. They will make your event as special as you want it to be! Their services include food, linens, flatware and cutlery.

Extra Charges:
Tables – 90" rounds with seating for 8 = $10 each
6 foot buffet tables for food, registration, or other needs = $5 each
Chairs = $1 each
Set-up, take-down and 2 servers for 12-50 guests = $50
Set-up, take-down and 2 servers for 51-100 guests = $75

BAR SERVICES
You can choose from three options for bar services at your event:

  • Simple coffee and water served at your event
  • Full range of sodas, waters, fruit drinks, coffee, wine and beer to be paid for by the individuals attending the event (cash bar).
  • Group leader will purchase a certain amount of beverages and then each individual attending will receive drink coupons to be used at their discretion. Full range of sodas, waters, fruit drinks, coffee, wine and beer will be offered.

Please note that all beverages must be purchased through History Theatre.

POLICIES

  • A 50% deposit is required to confirm your event time and date within seven (7) days of booking. Prices are guaranteed to signing of contract and deposit receipt.
  • Deposits are non-refundable.
  • Final guest count is due seven (7) days prior to event.
  • Guaranteed number is not subject to reduction.
  • To ensure the finest quality for your guests, all menus must be confirmed seven (7) days prior to event.
  • All prices are subject to sales tax as required by state law.
