Neighbors
November 19–November 19, 2019
History Theatre is proud and excited to offer SPECIAL PUBLIC PERFORMANCE of our new play neighbors
neighbors
by Benjamin Benne
directed by Shá Cage
What makes a place a home?
Four St. Paul neighborhood children stage an imaginative playground pageant about their own families’ journeys to Minnesota. Along the way they conjure ancestors who take us to Somalia, Norway, Myanmar, and Guatemala. This emotional and joyful connection between children and cultures shows what can happen when neighbors share another side of themselves with each other.
- You will see a 30 minute performance followed by a Q&A with the actors
